First Easter
I was so happy to be able to squeeze this little guy in last month before I went on vacation. I think this post was worth waiting for, because Easter Sunday just seemed like the perfect day to share this adorable photo! The bunny and the hat and blanket were gifts from his grandmothers and I think I can tell from the smile on his face that he likes them!
A very masculine gray-on-gray combination looks great on this guy.
Oh how I love my fire babies! It’s been a while since I had a firefighter dad in the studio – and I just love how sweet and comfy he looks in his dad’s fire helmet!
And lastly, enjoy this very peaceful looking shot. I won’t tell you what our dear Baby B did right after this… but if you can imagine getting sprayed by a fire hose, you’d be close… LOL!
Have a very Happy First Easter!

Littlest Sweetheart
Miss S was a total sweetheart, and I enjoyed our session so much! She looks so pretty in pink.
I love the tones in this image, and she was a perfect little model.
Finally, another perfectly sweet sleeping pose, atop a blanket that was lovingly crocheted for her. Isn’t she just the sweetest? I especially love her in this ruffled diaper cover!!
Thanks so much for letting me photograph your little sweetheart.

Biker Baby
I have to tell you – I was so excited when I was told that this baby’s dad is a Harley rider. We had so much fun integrating dad’s jacket and some fun mustache prints into the shoot! Dad is going to LOVE this!
The first shot of the session & I knew we were in for a good time!
I always fall in love with smooshy lips!
I love this basket -it simultaneously has an industral ‘edge’ and a charm that will work in his grandma’s country-style home. Plus it’s fun to write messages on the plaque!
Oh my gosh, this print just makes me smile. Little Mustache baby!! Click to enlarge:
I love personalizing each shoot to the family’s interests… what fun things could I do with your family? Contact me & let me know!

D is for Darling
Mr. D was darling, delightful and utterly delicious.

Drowsily drifting, then deeply dreaming.
And dearly loved by devoted parents!

Embrace
This little guy was so sweet and easy going – and one minute after you meet his parents you realize where he gets it from. Thanks to the P family – I hope to see you again soon!
I love both of these photos on their own merits, and even more positioned together. Little C is so absolutely happy in mom and dad’s loving embrace. (Click to see more detail.)
Lastly, I was thrilled my darling model settled so easily into every pose we tried, including in this new prop (an antique firkin I picked up at a antiques fair). What a dream baby, I hope he sleeps as well at home for mom and dad.

Tough Guy
This newborn session started with low expectations. The mom told me, “I’m not sure we’re really going to get anything, he’s fussy and is hard to get to sleep and fights the swaddle. I guess we’ll just try to get a few shots.”
I talked the mom into coming for a session anyway and planned to try my best. Well – thanks to my MAD baby soothing skills (LOL – and a measure of good luck), Mr. Tough Guy turned into the cutest little moosh and it became into one of my best sessions! There are so many images I love, I couldn’t even decide what to post.
I love this storyboard with so many different expressions… click to enlarge!
Thanks to the B family for having faith in me

Content
I have been looking forward to sharing images from this session for some time. This little darling was a preemie, so although she was almost two months old, she was quite petite. She was such a happy baby, as you can see from the wonderful smiles she gave her doting parents!
I love how you can feel their love and happiness in this image!
She was so sweet being posed in different ways, and modeled three new headbands I was so excited to try!
An instant favorite – love the contrast of a tiny baby girl in her daddy’s strong arms.
Keep smiling Miss J! You are dearly loved.
Brotherly Love
I had the pleasure of meeting a great family who just welcomed a second son – we had so much in common! The big brother was so sweet and his curiosity and tenderness towards his newborn baby brother were really adorable. Enjoy your sneak peek — can’t wait to share the whole gallery with you!
Tucking him in for a little nap…
Big brother had a blast on the rocking horse that my grandfather made for me, when I was a kid!
And finally, such a sweet image – big brother with his arm protectively around his baby brother.

Spring into Life
I had the pleasure of meeting this family last week, who just welcomed their fourth child. All of the children are just beautiful and it was a real treat to shoot outdoors, at their lovely home. Thanks for braving the bit of drizzle and flashing me these great smiles. Ladies, first:
Big brother is a hockey player, so it was fun to capture him with his gear:
The green grass and flowering trees were not the only signs of spring and new life — the family was clearly overjoyed with their newest addition, a little brother. It was sweet to see how much the older siblings love him already. After all the excitement outdoors, he was happy to settle into a nap in the warm and cozy studio.
Enjoy your growing family, and thanks for letting me capture Baby T during these first special weeks.
